We’re Krysta and Todd Widman, and this is our story. It’s a story about family, dreams, setbacks, and, of course, wood.

Todd is the third generation of woodworking Widman men, and although the path to our own shop wasn’t exactly what we expected, it’s the journey that led us to this moment—and we wouldn’t change a thing. After a series of challenges that included back injuries, a few career twists, and life lessons we never saw coming, we found ourselves here, with the opportunity to buy Spunky Fluff, a business we immediately admired.

This dream started with Todd’s passion for creating beautiful, wood pieces—products that range from sentimental mementos to cheeky pop culture references, and everything in between. Whether it’s a colorful magnet in honor of your favorite pet or an inspirational saying that makes you smile, our products are designed to add personality and joy to your home. With over 20 vibrant colors to choose from, each order that leaves our shop is a tiny burst of creativity that we’re so proud to send out into the world.

Our shop is more than just a place to work—it’s a place where Todd can do what he loves, surrounded by the tools and materials that have been part of his life for decades. We spent years dreaming about the day we’d have our own fully outfitted space where he could create to his heart’s content—and now, we’re living that dream. But it hasn’t always been easy. Through the twists and turns, life kept moving forward. Our baby grew into a toddler, we had another child, and we balanced all of it—work, dreams, and planning—knowing that someday, we'd be ready for this next chapter.

Now, here I am, officially the proud owner of Spunky Fluff. We’re excited, we’re nervous, and we’re more determined than ever to make this business thrive. I may not know much about wood (yet!), but I’m beyond excited to manage Todd now both personally and professionally. We’ll be learning and growing together every step of the way, and we’re so grateful to have you with us on this journey.
